Sean Garmer is involved in a ton of great sports podcasts on the W2M Network including
Wrestling 2 the MAX, Football 2 the MAX, and Video Games 2 the MAX.
Sean has been an online journalist for over 15 years in things ranging from soccer and football to pro wrestling and video games. He started podcasting only four years ago when he and his best friend started the Wrestling 2 the MAX podcast. Since then, podcasting has truly become a passion for Sean. Currently, he hosts three podcasts that all do multiple shows a week, produces several others, runs an entire podcast network called the W2M Network. When Sean isn’t watching some kind of sports, he’s playing video games or spending time with his wife and daughter.
We talked about a ton of awesome things surrounding sports fandom – including the fact that Sean agrees with me that fans who cheer for a college for one sport should also cheer for that college in all sports.
His fan story is interesting and similar to so many of us who love watching sports.

Favorite Sports Memory:
Dallas Mavericks winning the NBA Championship in 2011. It is extra sweet to me, because I was in Miami, FL visiting family for the entire NBA Finals series in 2006 where the Mavericks lost to the Heat. My family there wouldn’t let me live it down. Then the Mavs got to avenge me five years later. Pretty awesome.
Best Sports Movie – and why:
Field of Dreams. I am not a Baseball guy at all, in fact, it is probably my least favorite sport. However, there’s just something magical about this movie that hooks you in and compels you to watch it. Not to mention the “If you build it, they will come” tagline just sticks with you.
Best food/drink to consume while watching a game:
Philly Cheese Steak
Where is your favorite place to watch a game?
If I can’t be at the stadium, in the comfort of my own home.
